On Wednesday...
1) I went to register my visa.
2) Talked with my professor (cute old man).
3) Found accidentally a nice feria, which was mainly about Chilean crafts.
4) Found accidentally a nice little café, when searching for a toilet.
5) Found accidentally a massive local market place, which was mainly about food.
6) Said bye bye to my old but beloved (!) Converse´s and bought a new pair of shoes!

Sunday walk.
So, yesterday we had a little walk up to the hill called Cerro San Cristóbal, where you can see pretty much the whole Santiago. It was a really laid back day and the weather was just perfect. We wondered around the Botanic garden Mapulemu, stopped to have a glas of sweet "Mote con huesillos" (see picture) and just lay on the grass in the sun. Up on the top of the hill we didn't even remember that we were in Santiago: the smog didn't reach us and there was a little piece of nature around us. It was a perfect escape.
